Field Trips

Serendipity provides hands on learning through our field trip program. Each year we try to find a balance of special guests coming to our school and special places to visit in the community. Examples include: Okotoks Museum, Vet Clinics, Dental Office, Zumba, Yoga and more.

Teacher Wishlist

Fundraising

Each year Serendipity families participates in fundraisers to purchase special items not covered in our regular budget, for example, outdoor play equipment. These fundraisers are only done when required, so are not offered each year.

Every 36-39 months Serendipity is given the opportunity to participate in a Casino event. The money raised allows us to keep our teacher educated and employed, class fees lower and class sizes smaller.

Scholastics offers a monthly reading club to children to adults, delivered right to your door. To order go to www.scholastics.ca and enter RC143431 and Serendipity earns credits to keep our library current and supplies for the classroom.
