Our Approach

Our program is based on the ‘learning through play’ concept, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning. Our amazing outdoor space provides children with countless opportunities for sensory exploration. Children learn through a process of hearing, feeling, seeing, smelling, and tasting. Our creative play philosophy is based on the premise that the more our emotions are involved, the more sensory information we receive, the more easily learning takes place. That is why play is important, and why we want to promote the principle of learning by doing, learning through play, and the right of a child to enjoy childhood.

What Parents Think

My daughters attended Serendipity two years ago, and I would definitely recommend the school to family and friends. I was really impressed with the school’s play based approach to learning, and the environment was cozy and welcoming. The teachers are warm and patient, and we loved the variety of activities and outings that were planned. I liked that parents have such a large role in the school, and enjoyed my time as a board member at the school. My daughters were more than prepared for Kindergarten, and they graduated from Serendipity with confidence and a love of learning!
